On Nov. 21, 2007, the Parade Company hosted the 18th Annual Hob Nobble Gobble at the State Fair Grounds. Sponsored by GM, Blue Cross Blue Shield, One Detroit Center and the Chrysler Foundation, this festive, pre-Thanksgiving black-tie carnival allowed the city's elite to party with a purpose.
"This is the 18th year that this has been going on," explained Parade Company event coordinator Sommer Woods. "It's the largest fundraiser for the Parade Company, and what they basically do is raise funds in order to proceed with the Thanksgiving Parade that everyone loves and enjoys here in Detroit." -janaya black
