Executive Productions, LLC presented The Autumn Fashion Affair on Nov. 24, 2007 at one of Detroit's premier nightspots, the Prive Lounge .
The fashion show, which was hosted by promoters Brandon A. Jessup, Richard J. Peterson and Donnell R. White, featured native Detroit designers Mark England and Merica Patterson. The popular fashion designers unveiled their fall collections to a group of young professionals.
England, a 20-year fashion industry veteran described his men's custom business suits as "... British and French cuts, which [are] different from the traditional Italian cuts and American cuts. It just gives you a better look, a cleaner look."
The affair was 22-year-old Patterson's fashion debut. Designing since the age of 13, she explained, "The thing that is kind of catchy about [my line], is we always have some type of bling on it... a little flashy but as you can see, still classy." -tiffany tilley
