Grammy Award-winning artist Big Boi is known for rolling out the purple carpet at every function that carries his name. So, when he hosted a charity gala at celebrated jeweler David Yurman’s showroom to raise money for the Big Kidz Foundation, philanthropists and socialites alike turned out with checkbooks in hand. The Big Kidz Foundation was launched by Big Boi in September 2006 to nurture children’s intellect through music and the humanities.
