The Women of Color from the Chicago Fire Department celebrated the completion of their 2008 women's calendar with corporate sponsors and well-wishers during a festive event at Mi Spa. The proceeds from sales of the calendar will benefit the Blair Holt Foundation Scholarship, which targets inner-city students. Holt was a brilliant student at Percy Julian High School who was senselessly killed on a CTA bus in the spring of 2007. Don't miss the calendar release party, Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, Ill.
