The best and brightest in Houston business came out to celebrate honorees who transcend the role of being businesspeople and entrepreneurs, to become active community participants. The lovely and talented Kelly Price gave a show stopping performance prior to the award announcements. Cathy Hughes served as mistress of ceremonies for the evening, and the night was one of celebration and gratitude to those who have served the Houston community. The four Pinnacle Award winners were; Codwell Family Foot Center, DiverseStaff, George E. Johnson Development and 3131 Properties. Others honorees included Upstart Award winners, Beaucoup Wings-N-Wings, and the Advocate of the Year Award winner, the Houston Port Authority. –todd williams
