 The world’s oldest distilled spirit is also one of its most unique. Unraveling and experiencing the history and the re-emergence of rum, makes for a pirate-like travel itinerary across the seven seas.

 The cocktail standard is experiencing a resurgence in the drink’s popularity, in large part due to the creation of the popular cool and minty rum cocktail known as the mojito, also known as the “cosmo for the adventurous,” which was born in the Caribbean and popularized by international movers and shakers.

San Juan’s Parrot Club located in the rum capital of the world, Puerto Rico offers patrons a variety of solutions for enjoying its premium rums, whether served neat, on the rocks or mixed in their favorite cocktails.
 
Bermuda’s Veranda Bar in Paget Parish, is known as the sophisticated island’s rum specialist and offers over 90 brands of rum from around the world.
 
Jamaica’s Amnesia Night Club in Ochos Rios is an open-air bar and reggae dancehall, where patrons can dance on the rooftop to the sound of steel drums with the locals and get the authentic flavor of the island, which, of course, includes Jamaican rums.
