Thursday July 19, the National Black Arts Festival continued its celebration of the contributions of people of African descent at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery. Art lovers and cultural enthusiasts packed the space to preview works of prominent artists from around the nation.

Susan L. Taylor, Essence magazine's editorial director, was present to spread awareness about the benefits of male mentoring and supporting one's culture.
