spring breakers hit the beach for BET’s spring bling

Thousands of college students from across
the nation gathered in West Palm Beach to
celebrate BET’s eighth annual Spring Bling.
The three-day festival allowed spring breakers
to bask in the south Florida sun as they reveled
in hip-hop performances, dance contests and
wacky dating games which are soon to be
broadcast on BET. This year’s spring break
bash included shows such as “Rides, Rims
& Runways,” “Get to Steppin’,” “Beach Towel
Throwdown,” “Sweat on the Beach,” and
“Beach to the Rhyme.”
Notable performers at the event included
Keyshia Cole, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Flo Rida,
Rocko, J. Holiday and the crowd’s favorite,
Lil Wayne. “The highlight of my weekend was
seeing Lil Wayne perform with his guitar,” said
Sharonda Harris of Florida Atlantic University.
“But everyone seemed to enjoy all of the other
performances too. Besides the heat, the entire
Spring Bling was better than what I expected it
