Marvelous things can occur when two or three are gathered together and on one accord. That was the case in Palm Springs over Valentine’s weekend, as Black Enterprise magazine brought together many of our community’s most influential women for the Third Annual Women of Power Summit. With professional consultations, touching round table discussions, and breathtaking performances by Jill Scott and Brian McKnight, the summit was a great success.

The summit was designed to create a positive forum for women to network with one another in a comfortable environment. Event sponsors included major brands such as State Farm, Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Mercedes-Benz and Verizon. If the smiles, hugs and tears of joy were any indication of the future of this summit, then rest assured it will be back next year, and for many years to come.
