Nissan Rogue

Nissan’s first entry into the hybrid market is the fun-loving Rogue, which is based on its popular Sentra model. The car has an easy feel to it, and comes equipped with an impressive option package. Buyers can opt for leather seats, Bluetooth connectivity, and select either front- or four-wheel drive. The Rogue does not offer a V-6 engine or the third-row seat, though. But all in all, Nissan makes a positive initial step with the release of the Rogue.

Mini Cooper S Works

The next generation of the Mini Cooper S is poised to set the nation on fire when the next calendar year rolls around. The new Cooper S is slightly larger, looks a bit different inside and out, and features a new turbocharged four-cylinder that pumps out 172 horsepower, which is 54 hp more than a regular Mini Cooper. With cleaner lines, and a refined exhaust system, this is a sure winner.

Mazda scores the winning basket with the release of their 2008 Tribute Hybrid. Automakers have toiled tirelessly for years to make a positive impression in the hybrid sector. Mission accomplished; the Tribute not only meets the objective, it surpasses it. With a 133-hp, 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a 70KW electric motor that pushes combined horsepower to 155, how could you not be impressed?
