I was just watching a PBS special on patriotism, and as if on cue, the “Proud to be an American” theme song began blaring in the background as the closing credits began to roll. Do I consider myself patriotic? Why of course I do. Now, I’ll never enlist in the armed forces to prove as much, but what I can do is share three military-inspired cocktails, all aimed at rallying the troops during their downtime. –dewayne rogers

Especial gold tequila
2 ounces Jagermeister®
herbal liqueur

Serve on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass.
