Before the major car manufacturers begin rolling out their 2008 masterpieces, it's time for us to take a closer look at the 2007 family cars that really caught our eye. Here are three of our favorites.

Toyota RAV4


This trendy crossover allows you to dart in and out of life's busiest corners. From baseball games to violin recitals, the RAV4 is well equipped to handle the rigors of any growing family's schedule. And while we're bragging, we forgot to mention its outstanding cargo space, and impressive safety ratings.

Ford Edge


While providing the rugged feel of an SUV, the Ford Edge gives comfort and safety that's both needed and appreciated in a traditional family car. Spacious enough to fit three child safety seats in the back, the Ford Edge allows parents to still feel young and alive, while being a "conservative" caregiver at the same time.

Honda Odyssey

The Honda Odyssey is indeed a dream to drive. But outside of that appeal, the spacious confines of its interior make it perhaps the top choice for those families looking to score a top-of-the-line minivan. The ride, the room, the look - the Honda Odyssey has it all.
