Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is the fourth in the Phoenix Wright series of interactive adventure games. These delightful games give players an opportunity to flex their mental muscle as attorneys and do all kinds of fun stuff, like examine evidence and expose witnesses who perjure themselves. This edition of the series introduces Apollo Justice, a new defense attorney. However, much of the game play remains the same as in previous games. Using various forensic investigative tools, players get to recreate crime scenes and cross-examine witnesses. One extremely cool feature is the ability to holler “Hold It,” and “Objection” into the microphone of the DS while cross-examining a witness. Longtime fans of these games will immediately notice the improvement in graphics. Overall, characters look a lot sharper and splashy 3D video spices things up. Basically, if you enjoyed playing any of the games in this series, you’ll definitely want to try this one. Apollo ... has everything we’ve come to love from this series; a wonderful story with kooky, but always funny characters and plenty of problem solving.
