W.O.E. Records recording artist J-Roc, is taking the industry by storm. Having being signed to his own
record label since the age of six; and between juggling school, touring and opening for major acts like
T.I., Lil Wayne, and Young Joc, the 12-year-old boy wonder is thinking way beyond his years. “My music
is clean [and] for all ages,” he states. “It feels good to know that I do this on my own. It’s kind of hard,
but then again it’s easy.”
In celebration of his new hit single “Ridin My Bike,” young J-Roc is looking forward to a plethora of exciting
opportunities, some of which include his upcoming performance as the opening act for Omarion,
Mario, and Trey Songz at the Fillmore in Detroit on December 30.
“It’s fun because I get to hang around with my peers in the music business. They treat me like I’m
grown when I’m really a kid,” he affi rms. “I get to have fun and it’s something that I want to do.”
Though this young stunner has embarked on a venture that has proven not to be for the faint of heart,
J-Roc remains a focused young man with a dream and no delusions about what it takes to make it in the
music industry. “[I’ve learned] that it takes a lot of hard work and even though you may feel like you put
in a lot of work, you still gotta put in a lot more — work hard and never let your dream go,” he imparts.
