Personal Trainer, Bally's

America's obesity epidemic has been well documented, but while many just ponder and pontificate on the battle of the bulge in the U.S., Kirk Hylton is on the front lines, fighting for a physically fit nation. Hylton, an assistant sales manager and personal trainer for Bally's, is spreading the word about staying healthy. "We want people to become more aware that if they just take the time to invest in their bodies, they'll live a better lifestyle and stay healthy longer," he shares. "There are too many Americans that are overweight and have ailments due to lack of activity, and we're trying to get members to be aware that fitness is the key to living better."

Hylton understands the importance of maintaining a steady regimen of exercise and activity, and he wants to make sure people get committed to staying in shape. "Those people who don't really join tend to miss out," he says. "[But] once they come in and see what we have to offer, they [want] to come back and join. Those people are the ones who truly get results. Try it out, see exactly how it's different, and get results. You have to be consistent."

"We have the most locations of any fitness organization right now, plus we give members a lot of leverage with their payments after they've invested a certain amount of time," continues Hylton. "You have to have a commitment to fitness. You have to understand what you're doing, which is why we have trainers to help."

With a lot of hard work, dedication and guidance from the professionals, maybe Americans can trim a few inches off the nation's collective waistline. - todd williams
