The Levert family has suffered quite a loss in the past year. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but one thing that those that still have life must remember is that life goes on. For the group LeVert, moving on means reconnecting with fans that have supported them throughout their career, and since the passing of beloved lead vocalist Gerald Levert; Sean Levert, Marc Gordon, and newcomer Dwight Thompson have done just that. "It's just incredible how many people we've touched over the years," says Sean. "You don't really know what you've done until something happens. Now you can see all of the love and support that we have, and how big our fan base really is."

LeVert is excited about this new chapter in its storied history, and judging from the fans, the public is just as excited to have the group behind such hits as "Casanova" and "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind.)" "When we started this it was all [about] the love of the music, and now because so much has happened and we've gotten so much support over the last few months, we've got to do it and give [the fans] something back," explains Gordon. "We've got something to offer and I think they'll enjoy it."

For Thompson, it's a joy to be a part of a group with the track record and fan base that LeVert has. "I haven't been at [their] level but I've been in the game a long time. I sang background with Gerald and I've been around the family for a while," he says. "I'm learning a lot. It's been great - and [there has] always been a lot of love." - todd williams
