Events, Promotions Company

You don't become the hottest events team in Atlanta without working hard. F.C.C. is the most in-demand party/promotions/events teams in the ATL, and the braintrust of Taiye Samuel, Keinon Johnson and Carlton "Big CAC" Green, along with Jermaine "Damani" Archer, have put in the time and experience to keep the city partying. "We want to put the experience back into parties and events," says Samuel. "We want the kind of [event] where y ou leave, and a year from now you [will still be] talking about it."

F.C.C. was born of friendship and the trust that four college friends shared, as well as a singular belief in the vision. After graduation, Samuel began working for LaFace Records and Johnson was at Priority Records. Handling their respective labels' street promotions gave the burgeoning entrepreneurs firsthand knowledge of the industry, and soon, they made a fateful decision.

"We [figured] we might as well start our own company, instead of giving the money away to these other dudes," says CAC matter-of-factly. It made sense for everyone involved, and F.C.C. was born. F.C.C.'s success is built on that initial friendship, and on a desire to make their mark. "Your presence has to be felt. You've got to be different and do something to separate yourself from the pack," explains CAC. And you have to love what you do, as all members of F.C.C. clearly do.

"The money is cool, but my main thing is to see people come out who don't typically come out and have a good time," shares Johnson. "That means a lot." - todd williams
