Actress, “The Game”

The more things change, the more they stay the same. So as the landscape of Hollywood stays in constant flux, the one stable force that continues to provide a beautiful example of all that’s possible within the entertainment industry is veteran actress Wendy Raquel Robinson. As the talented actress prepared for her hit television show, “The Game,” to return to the air following the extended writer’s strike, Robinson spent some time with rolling out to discuss her much-anticipated return to work. dewayne rogers

On how her return to “The Game” has been...

It’s going great. It’s funny because, it’s a continuation of the second season, but it seems like an entirely new season due to the break because of the writer’s strike. But actually now that things are back on track, the writers seem more excited, the cast is more excited, and the energy is just at a really high level right now. So in a strange way, the strike was a blessing in disguise. as it has re-energized everyone.

On how she’s been able to maintain a successful career as a comedic actress...

I never set out to be a funny person. I actually majored in drama in college, and it wasn’t until I came out to LA, when those opportunities begin to present themselves. I was always crazy with my friends, but I never thought that I would have a career in situational comedy or romantic comedy. But in whatever I do, I always just try to bring who I am to the work. And I never surrendered Wendy. That’s where my success came from.
