Jay-Z Adds Another Show to Voter Registration Drive

Jay-Z was so moved by the response to his voter registration drive in Miami that the rap mogul decided to add another show to the bill. Jay performed in support of Obama and to help register voters before the presidential election next month. New voters who registered were granted free admission to his concert. Yesterday was the last day which new voters in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, D.C., Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia to be eligible to vote on November 4.

Jay was among a long line of musical acts that have supported voter registration drives, including Playaz Circle who hit up The Gallery at South DeKalb Mall in Atlanta last week to help register felons to vote. –j.h.
