It's always good thing to come across new music from Everette Harp. My Inspiration is Harp's eighth CD to date. Like Harp's previous efforts, the disc is an excellent compilation of traditional smooth jazz cuts. You won't find any drums machine here, no sir, My Inspiration is everything jazz should be - funky, soulful and passionate. Rounding out the CD are some solid guest performances from George Duke, Jeff Lorber and Pieces Of a Dream. -dark abyss
