J. Lo makes her return to the pop charts on her fifth proper LP, Brave. The album is a pulsating dance disc, with the memorable first single, "Do It Well," memorializing how well Mrs. Anthony can work a dance groove. The album's biggest drawback is that Lopez doesn't acknowledge recent trends in dance music: no crunk, not even the '80s synth pop resurgence.
