A member of the G-Unit collective and also one the emerging emcees from the new class of West Coast bad boys is Spider Loc with his banged out release, West Kept Secret. A solid listen all the way through with an appearance from Ice Cube, Spider Loc has delivered an album that people from all coasts will be able to ride to. Loc pays homage to his West Coast way of life on the infectious "Blutiful World" and gives a shout-out to all the down-to-earth women in his life on "I Like." With other standout tracks including "Sometimes" and "Make You Love Me," Spider Loc proves to be one of California's lyrical heavyweights with this project. - jason thompson
