People who are passionate about everything they do usually get very far in life. When Deborah Ware decided to resurrect her lifelong dream of singing, she wanted her songs to have more purpose and direction than most of the music that's currently available.
"The music is about being a full role model for those women and even kids who really feel that they can't do the things that they really want to do - those that feel that there's something that's stopping them from getting to where they want to get. I want them to be real and use the talents that [they] have to get out there and show other people and not worry about what's going on in the background," explains Ware.
A New Orleans native who has lived and worked in Atlanta for the past 15 years as an elementary school teacher, Ware's blend of inspirational rhythm and soul has already been well received at such venues as the Royal Peacock and various events including the Sweet Auburn Festival and the Atlanta Blues and Jazz Festival. Also an actress with feature roles in ATL and We Are Marshall, the mother of three is dedicated to perfecting her craft.
With a self-titled EP now on shelves in several FYE locations, Ware is enjoying the reception that her music has received and wants nothing less than to continue the momentum and inspire the people around her.
