ARTizen Contemporary jazz artists and ARTizen Music Group founders Rick Braun and Richard Elliot consummate a creative relationship at long last with this album. And it's a high-quality consummation. "Curve Ball" features wild horn charts and "Q It Up" burns at a slow simmer for a funk jam. An overwhelmingly large part of this genre of music sounds painfully generic.
