The Rebirth of Common continues. Finding Forever continues the late-career resurgence of the 'thoughtful' MC from Chi-Town. The first single, "The People," is a hip-hop anthem in the purist sense, and the relationship ode, "Drivin' Me Wild," features Lily Allen's cooing vocals. DJ Premier makes a welcome appearance on "The Game." Produced almost entirely by fellow South Sider Kanye West, this album proves that the Chicago connection is just as potent the second time around - maybe even more so. -dusty culpepper
