Here’s another edition of that “contemporary” form of jazz that is slowly but surely decaying the genre’s radicalism. Saxophonists Jeff Kashiwa, Kim Waters and Steve Cole together make up The Sax Pack, a trio of artists who celebrate their allegiance to tepid playing and clichéd composition as a band.
