Terror
Squad Entertainment
As his album title would suggest, Fat Joe feels as though he’s being ignored in the midst hip-hop’s Soulja Boy, “best rapper alive,” Harlem and American Gangster hoopla. Sure with a career dating back to the early ‘90s during his days as Fat Joe Da Gangsta, Joey Crack might have an argument but Elephant includes guest appearances on nine out of 12 tracks and though these collabs feature a few a gems with rap’s whose who (Lil’ Wayne, KRS-One, etc.), the album plays more like a hot compilation rather than the record where Joe finally distinguishes himself from his competition-gavin philip godfrey
