Atlantan guitarist Barry Richman isn’t sticking to many rules in laying out his blues. This compilation ranges from traditional blues to psychedelia to jazzier blues and on and on. Richman’s phrasing is fantastic throughout an album that switches moods exceedingly well and stays interesting. While it may be too eclectic for some people’s tastes, this set is uniformly excellent -forrest green III
