jack johnson - sleep through the static
Brushfire
Jack Johnson claims that his latest release, Sleep Through the Static, is darker in tone than anything he’s ever released. And it is — you just have to try really hard to hear it. Johnson has gone more electric this time around, but he still delivers his songs in that easy-listening whisper that he’s known for. “Hope” stands out as one of the best songs he’s recorded, but overall, Sleep … is only slightly modified from what you’ve come to expect. – dusty culpepper
