Who doesn’t remember 2004’s AVP: Alien vs. Predator? Those two sci-fi antagonists named in the film’s title squared off for supremacy in barren Antarctica with the lovely Sanaa Lathan and her search team caught in the middle. Sequels for films of that kind do not require originality, that’s for sure. In this installment, a predator scout ship crash-lands in a Colorado town. The aliens on board escape into the surrounding area. It is up to their nemesis, the Predator, to deal with the utterly destructive and unstoppable aliens. Lathan does not return for this sequel.
