Long before they graced Oscar's red carpet, Halle Berry and Samuel L. Jackson appeared in Strictly Business, which tells the story of Waymon Tisdale (Joseph C. Phillips), a black man with issues regarding his blackness. Tisdale falls for Natalie (Berry), but his inability to embrace black culture inhibits him from making a love connection.
