Robert Rodriguez’s installment of Grindhouse’s Planet Terror, is hard-core horror at its finest. The B-movie stars Freddy Rodriguez as the mysterious El Wray, and Rose McGowan, as a one-legged, but ultra sexy Cherry Darling. After an experimental bio-weapon is released, turning thousands into zombie-like creatures, the surviving townspeople must depend on a chosen few to save them. The movie maintains the aged effect complete with color errors, scratches and frame skipping that was in the original theater version. –yvette caslin
