Twentieth Century-Fox
A comedic spoof of
underdog sports movies,
with a twist. Coach
Fields (David Koechner),
claims one of the
worst records in the
history of college football.
Convinced by fellow
coach Freddie Wiseman (Carl Weathers), he returns
to the field for one last shot at greatness. Fields finds
work at a little-known university, where he augments his
team of losers with skilled players. The team eventually
improves enough to play in the annual Toilet Bowl
championship. This movie clearly has its tongue buried
deeply in its cheek.
