The TV program “That ‘70s Show” gives subject matter to an audience that may not remember its origin. Like most shows of this variety, its main concern is reflecting social values. While doing so, that show also presents a retrospective of a decade full of political events and technological advances that have shaped today’s world. The seventh season, available in this four-DVD set, takes place in 1979. It’s an oftentimes hilarious compilation of episodes. “That ‘70s Show” was also the launching pad for the film careers of its stars, relative unknowns at the time of the show’s inception.
