The family that brought you Sunday dinner and all its drama is back. "Soul Food: The Series, The Second Season," is now available on DVD. The Joseph sisters, Teri Joseph (Nicole Ari Parker); Tracy "Bird" Van Adams (Malinda Williams); and Maxine Chadway (Vanessa Williams), continue to solidify their relationship and lean on each other through the family's most rough times. This season picks up with Maxine coping with her husband Kenny's hospitalization after a car accident. After his recovery, Kenny begins to finds himself attracted to his secretary at the towing company. Teri continues to try to become partner at her law firm, while Bird and Lem fight over the morals of visiting a strip club. -adrienne gadling
