Those of you who loved Alicia Keys in the hyper-kinetic action-flick Smokin' Aces should enjoy her in the romantic dramedy, The Nanny Diaries. But this is really actor Scarlett Johansson's movie. In the film, Johansson works as a nanny for a rich family in New York. While living in the clan's home, her character Annie deals with romance, her studies, the family's dysfunction, and the spoiled brat in her charge. Keys plays the other nanny in the film. Chris Evans (Fantastic Four) and Laura Linney (Mystic River, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) join in as the couple whom Annie works for. This is an adaptation of a novel by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, two real-life former nannies. - forrest green III
