Although, this movie is about a serial killer, it’s a little different from most movies of the genre. Owen Wilson plays Vann Siegert, a most unlikely serial killer who according to him has never done anything violent to anyone, (no more than what was necessary). Much unlike Wilson’s nice serial killer persona, Dexter is a deplorable killer and in a twisted sense of preferring the lesser of two evils , we begin appreciate Vann Siegert. There’s no torture, blood or gore, so to speak in The Minus Man. Oddly, enough, the absence of violence is one of the things that makes this movie so creepy. A true psychological horror movie, The Minus Man may move a little too slow for some horror fans, but for true fans of this genre, watching this movie is a definite plus. soul goddess
