What Love Is is a romantic comedy starring an ensemble cast led by Cuba Gooding Jr. On Valentine’s Day, Tom (Cuba Gooding Jr.) invites his friends to join him as he plans to pop the question to his girlfriend. But when Tom gets home , he finds out the love of his life is leaving him. Once Tom’s friends show up, the movie begins to feel a little like a stage play. Almost half the movie is just Tom and buddies going back and forth about women, love and sex. Once the women they invited show up, they have their own talk session. Once they all get together and pair up, the movie shifts from couple to couple as they each give their own outlook on love. With so many characters, there isn’t must time for development. Still, the movie does manage to provide some interesting moments
