leprechaun triple feature
Lionsgate
This set of three films falls into the category of horror-comedy, and centers around a grotesque little creature known as the Leprechaun (Warwick Davis). The films are not particularly scary, and the humor based around the Irish monster and his malicious acts of violence tends to miss the mark. The first installment in the Leprechaun series demonstrates the franchise’s mediocrity. J.D. (John Sanderford) and his daughter, Tory, (Jennifer Aniston) move into an old house where the Leprechaun is locked away in the basement. Tory is appalled at the house’s condition and freaks out. J.D. remarks, “This is a great house. I got a great buy on it.” Tory replies, “Yeah. From who, Dracula?” This is a package only for the most intense fans of nineties horror.
