appleseed ex machina
Warner Brothers
Fans of the Appleseed anime series will be pleasantly surprised when they pick up Appleseed Ex Machina. This newest entry proves that the third time’s the charm. Produced by John Woo, this doesn’t really feel like anime, it feels more like a movie. The action is stylish and tight. If you’ve ever seen a John Woo action film, you know what to expect, acrobatic gunfights, slo-mo bullets, and a high body count. Appleseed Ex Machina delivers on all counts. The story centers around an elite strike team investigating a series of mysterious, but highly coordinated attacks on the government. As they begin their investigation, they soon find that something more sinister is taking place and the whole world may be at risk. Thanks to its PG-13 rating, Appleseed Ex Machina doesn’t have to sugarcoat any of its action sequences. Even if you’re not a fan of anime, you may still want to check out this movie. If you are a fan of anime, you have to pick up a copy of Appleseed Ex Machina, it’s that good.
