This has been a phenomenal year for black authors, so developing this list of best books of 2007 was no easy feat. Below you will find my book selections along with a brief description.- yvette caslin

					Take Her Man by Grace Octavia reinforces the power of friendships. It’s a tale about three friends (Troy, Tasha and Tamia) who plot to get their best friend’s man out of the arms of another woman.
					My Life: The Story of an NFL Child by Shelley Barrow is a true inspiration for celebrity children and highlights the positive side of football players’ lives.
					The Bond: Three Young Men Learn to Forgive and Reconnect with Their Fathers by Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, Rameck Hunt highlights the lives of these famous doctors whose fathers were absent and how they managed to forgive them.
