Amidst the economic challenges that plague businesses in most urban cities, TaylarMade Consulting Solutions stands out as a beacon of light, doing their part to empower individuals to believe in themselves and their ability to turn dreams into reality. TaylarMade is a family owned business that has operated with a twofold purpose for the past 13 years — as a for-profit enterprise and a nonprofit organization.

“I’m responsible for the nonprofit side,” says Jeanne Wardford, chief innovator for TaylarMade Consulting Solutions. “I work with organizations who are doing housing development all across the country, helping them to rebuild their community.”

Wardford has been recognized throughout her career for the prominent positions she’s held as a community leader and economic development professional. She’s also well-known for the dynamic work she’s done to advocate for youth and families.

“What I love about it is that we have the opportunity to help people bring out the best in themselves, in organizations and communities,” she explains. “We help them build at their capacity, because they’re closest to whatever their community issues are and we help them create solutions that are ‘tailor-made’ to fit their specific needs and communities.” - janaya black
