Events Manager, Mercedes-Benz
Lisa Holladay wants all car lovers to know that Mercedes-Benz may be coming to a city near them soon. In a nationwide tour dubbed, The C-Drive, the German car giant will be launching their all-new C-Class to consumers. The event will take place in 11 markets across the country, ideally reaching 27,000 prospective and current owners. "Ultimately, the goal is to [attract]people interested in the vehicle and bring new people to the brand," says Holladay, the events manager for Mercedes-Benz.
This year's C-Drive tour showcases Mercedes-Benz's impressive ability to connect consumers with their brand. In each of the host cities, they will feature both open and closed-course test drives of the new C-Class. Everyone from car enthusiasts to those that are just curious will be able to experience firsthand what the new C-Class has to offer. Needless to say, the vehicle has more than enough attributes to impress any and all comers.
"This is a very important vehicle for us, because this vehicle is what we like to call the gateway to the brand," says Holladay. "We expect that it will have a 60 percent conquest, which means that 60 percent of the people that buy this vehicle will be new to the Mercedes-Benz brand. This particular C-Class is the most connected vehicle that we've ever put out there - from [its] ability to rip CDs, the iPod integration, to the sound system."Fortunately for Mercedes-Benz, the C-Drive also has people like Holladay in its corner. - gavin p. godfrey
