Upon leaving high school, watching the barrage of daytime court and daily talk shows had become a monotonous routine for Brittany Crocker. However, the Atlanta native knew her future held more than just low-paying jobs and melodramatic soap operas. She just wasn’t quite sure which steps to take.

“I was laying on the couch watching Maury [Povich],” says Crocker with a laugh, recalling the commercial that would forever change the landscape of her life. “[That’s] when a Javelin Tech commercial came on. Hearing about their different programs really interested me. I ended up going to the school to learn more about it and knew it was where I needed to be.”

After learning about the small and convenient class sizes, Crocker enrolled and never looked back. Before long, she was nearing the end of her medical program and completing an externship that was arranged by Javelin Tech at Well Health Chiropractor Center.

“We had students from different schools come in to complete their externship with us,” says Dr. Antaures Jackson about his experience with Crocker. “We get an opportunity to take a look at their work and enthusiasm to see if they’re able to be an asset to our team. Brittany was one of the students that really stood out over the rest. Her skills, attitude and professionalism made her a great hire for us. She was willing to go above and beyond. Those are things that you just can’t necessarily teach students. Somehow, Javelin has been able to instill this in their students.”

After learning of exceptional service and profound impression that Crocker had made on her new employers, Javelin Tech approached her to star in one of their new commercials. In this way, she was able to bring her experience full circle by inspiring the next class to maximize their potential. - adam jones
