President/Owner Serenity Tropical Fish
Having an elaborate aquarium in your home does more than just add a look of elegance and urbanity. The calming, stress-reducing effect that it has on its owners has been enjoyed for centuries dating back to ancient Chinese and Roman empires.
"It was kind of funny how it started and I got interested in it," tells Arthur McCoy of his passion for fish. "A young lady that was real good friends with my daughter was moving. She had a fish tank that she wasn't going to carry to her new place, so I told her that I would take the tank. I didn't know anything about the fish but I was drawn to them. It was calm and peaceful watching them. For some reason, they kept growing and got huge."
Minister Arthur McCoy is owner of Serenity Tropical Fish-your one-stop-shop for exotic tropical fish. His passion, which grew from chance to a thriving enterprise, is introducing a new generation to oceanic excitement.
"I care about what I do and do it with integrity and honesty," explains the minister. "I give my customers all the information they will need from his range to where he comes from to what his mood habits are. Some fish can be highly aggressive. I let them know the type of fish that he would mingle or intertwine with. I don't just sell people fish and leave them when they're first starting off. "
