Assistant Vice President of Corporate Diversity, Enterprise Rent-A-Car
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has established itself as the premier rental car provider for communities throughout the country. With Enterprise having 6,700 branch locations worldwide, it's imperative that the corporation operates with diversity being a focal point.
As the assistant vice president of corporate diversity, Chris Tabourne has played a pivotal role in enhancing Enterprise's community presence. Responsible for developing, implementing and measuring Enterprise's diversity initiatives, Tabourne's impact within the company is evident through its leverage in diversity and competitive edge. One stride he has made is continuing to build upon the brand's relationship with service-driven organizations like the National Urban League.
"We've been a longtime partner with the National Urban League," he explains. "The National Urban League has an outstanding reputation and a longstanding history of helping to build our communities."
With programs such as the Black Executive Exchange, the National Urban League helps Enterprise recruit top tier talent from black colleges and universities.
"We see that as a way for us to give back to the communities and rebuild the communities in which we do business," says Tabourne. "Even though we're a large company, we still consider ourselves a small-time business, allowing us an opportunity to partner with our communities."
