It's unusual when a public relations firm garners about as much buzz as the clients they tirelessly work to promote. But such is the case with Sasha Brookner and her impressive boutique agency, Helio Public Relations Firm. As the accolades continue to mount for both Brookner and her clients, the focus to make her mark within the entertainment industry has never been stronger.

"Initially, my sole purpose was to only represent revolutionary new talent," begins Brookner with a passion that's unmistakable. "And at first, I was able to stick closely to that principle. The only downfall with representing those types of clients is they don't always have the biggest budgets. So I had to branch out and work with a more mainstream client base as well. This provided me with an opportunity to not only keep the lights on, but to also passionately represent many talented artists that otherwise would not be getting much widespread attention."

Not bad for a history major with an emphasis in Egyptology at UCLA. But who would have thought that with such an educational background, Brenner would be turning heads as a universally respected publicist and creative mind, having represented such notables as Andre 3000, Cee-Lo, and Ciara? Certainly not her.

"In all honesty, I wanted to be a teacher," she reveals with a slight laugh. "Who knows, maybe I'll return to that one day, but as for right now, I'm happy with what I've been able to accomplish, and the careers that I've been able to impact in a positive way." - dewayne rogers
