Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and The Ludacris Foundation held its sixth annual benefit dinner at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. and honored several reputable individuals who are making strides in the community.

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones received the Chairman’s Award, Debra Lee and BET Networks won the Corporate Award, Executive Vice President Kevin Liles of Warner Music Group took home the President's Award, DC WritersCorp was given the Community Service Award, and Rep. Maxine Waters received the Ludacris Foundation Congressional Award.

“It’s a pleasure to be in our nation’s capitol and to see so many supporters this evening,” Ludacris said “It’s such a gratification to share this moment with people who influence me. I have been truly blessed. With blessings comes great responsibility [and] it’s ... an honor to share an evening with so many humanitarians.

This year has been wonderful. We have new issues and new challenges. I feel like we need a new type of leadership. I’m a firm believer in bringing together powerful individuals on Capitol Hill and putting them in the same room with the urban culture and youth, so that we can come up with solutions to many of the problems. We need to come together so that we all can become stronger.” –a.r.
