2004 OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Only open to legal residents of the following markets --Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis and Washington, D.C. who are at least 21 years of age as of the date of entry. Void where otherwise prohibited by law. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 am Eastern Time on Friday, July 16, 2004 and ends at 11:59:59 pm on Friday, September 3 2004.
2. How to Enter. Register on line www.rollingout.com one entry per person per day.
Neither Steed Media Group dba rolling out nor Akademiks is responsible for late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In case of dispute as to identity of the winner(s), winning entry will be declared made by the verification of eligibility provided that he/she is eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and provides a valid telephone number and mailing address. In case of dispute as to the identity of the winner, the winner must be available at the address and telephone number provided, provided that he/she is eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
3. Judges at rolling out qualified to perform such selection will select Winner(s) in the positive direction campaign. The selection will be made on or about September 5, 2004 from all eligible entries received. By participating, entrants agree to the Official Rules, warrant that they are in full compliance with such rules, and agree to the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
4. 10 Grand Prize Winners will receive a gift card from Akademiks for the new ladies Collection in the following markets: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C (Baltimore included).
5. rolling out employees, freelancers, consultants, distributors etc. Not Eligible. Employees or agents of rolling out, Akademiks, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, members of the immediate family of such employees and persons living in the same household of such employees/agents are ineligible to participate or win a prize.
6. Conditions of Participation. Winner(s) will be notified by September 15, 2004 by e-mail or telephone. If requested in the notification, winner must call the phone number provided to confirm eligibility within two (2) working days. If a contacted winner does not respond within two (2) working days, rolling out reserves the right to choose an alternative winner. Winner(s) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legal, Publicity Release, within 5 days of the date printed on the prize notification. Limit one prize per person, household or family.
rolling out reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of rolling out corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, and in such event the judges reserve the right to select the winner by random drawing from all eligible entries received (if any) up to the time of cancellation.
By participating, entrants agree to release rolling out, Akademiks, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, and the employees, officers, directors, and agents of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, costs or expenses or damages to persons or otherwise, including without limitation, personal injury, death and/or property damages, of any kind caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by participation in the positive direction campaign or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities. By accepting prize, winner(s) grant to rolling out the use of his/her name, address (city, state), likeness, photograph, voice and statements by winner (provided they are true) regarding Sweepstakes or rolling out for advertising/publicity purposes in all media, without further compensation or permission except where prohibited by law.
7. Winners List. The names of the winners will be posted at http://www.rollingout.com/akademiks on or about Sunday, September 19, 2004 until October 5, 2004. The name of the winner may also be obtained by providing a self addressed, stamped envelope to: Akademiks promotions, 257 Spring Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30303 after September 19, 2004.
